Dozens of classic rally cars are expected to turn out at the British Motor Museum on 14 January for the annual Historic Rally Car Register Open Day.
Members of the register are set to create an incredible display of racing machinery in the venue’s outdoor display arena, with numbers bolstered by members of the public, who are also encouraged to bring along their historic rally cars.
As well as a perfect opportunity to check out other classics and mingle with like-minded enthusiasts, visitors will be able to speak with organisers of countrywide events that make up the five championships and Scenic Tours series ahead of the new season.
The 2017 Open Day will also host a special feature on the Motoring News Rally Championship, headlined by a number of cars which competed in the most recent championship.
“We are delighted to have the HRCR here launching the different championships at the 2017 Open Day,” said the British Motor Museum’s Tom Caren. “For those interested in classic rallying this nostalgic event will be a great day out and a fantastic opportunity to see so many rally cars on display.”
