More than 100 classic Minis gathered in Wollongong, Australia last week for the annual Minis In The Gong 'Show & Shine' event.
The informal meet gives Mini enthusiasts from across Australia's south east the chance to show off their vehicles and chat with like-minded fans of the iconic car, with some attendees coming from as far afield as Canberra and Sydney.
The event is open to all Mini variants, from the original Austin and Morris models to the current BMW range, as well as vans and Mokes, whether original or modified.
This year's festival took place in the grounds of the Australian Motorlife Museum around 20km south of Wollongong, in the bright sunshine you might expect from the Australian summer.
The 2018 People's Choice award – which is voted by both exhibitors and the visiting public – went to David Palmeiro for his 1968 Morris Mini Deluxe, while the exhibitor-only award for Car of the Year was bestowed on Barry Harper for his 1970 Mini Van.
