An outstanding collection of a dozen Porsches including a 1987 Porsche 959 Komfort is to be auctioned at Amelia Island next month.
The 12 cars all come from the James G Hascall collection and will be offered without reserve by Gooding & Co on 9th March.
The highlight is the '87 Porsche 959, which has a mere 7400 kilometres on the clock and which is one of only 242 Komfort models; it is estimated to make between $900,000 and $1.2M.
It's far from the only desirable vehicle on offer, though. A 2005 Carrera GT – expected price $1M – is also likely to be highly sought after, on account of having done less than 120 miles.
Elsewhere, the list includes vehicles spanning 50 years of the marque's history, from a 1960 Porsche 356 B Cabriolet through to a 2016 Porsche 991 GT3 RS.
Hascall started his collection in the 1980s and, together with his wife, regularly raced the cars in road rallies.
Angus Dykman, Specialist at Gooding & Company, said, “It is a great honour to present this beautifully curated collection of cars featuring an important Porsche model from each decade over the last 50 years.
