More than 160 'everyman classics' will be up for grabs at Classic Car Auctions' forthcoming sale, with the standout lots including 21 fast Fords.
The auction, which will take place at the Birmingham NEC on 24-25 March, includes everything from a 1933 Alvis 'Speed 20' Sports Tourer to a rare Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 "in need of some TLC" and a 1975 Jensen Interceptor SIII, as well as dozens of less exotic vehicles.
However it's the fast Fords that caught our eye.
There are six Sierras up for sale, including two superb 1987 RS Cosworths. One has done a mere 26,000 miles and is estimated to go for £45,000 to £50,000, while the other is described as being in 'Concours condition' and is expected to fetch from £45,000 to £55,000. A couple of Sapphire Cosworths are also featured.
On the Escort front, a couple of RS2000 Customs stand out – one with fetching Cordoba beige trim and chocolate fishnet Recaros inside, the other a 1979 model that's enjoyed an extensive restoration. A couple of 1989 RS Turbo Series II Escorts also look tasty.
