Seventy years of DB-badged Aston Martins will be commemorated at this year's Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace.
More than 100 examples are expected at the three-day event, which runs from 31 August until 2 September, showcasing every DB model – from the ‘DB1’ to today’s DB11.
It's a truly majestic, not to mention unmistakably and fittingly British setting for a tribute to one of this country's most famous marques.
And one of the cars set to grace the event is something rather special, too: a 1967 Aston Martin DBSC by Touring (pictured above), the sole road-going version in existence.
Just two were built as potential DB6 replacements. This gorgeous Dubonnet Rosso, left-hand-drive DBSC has a tan pigskin interior, while power comes from a four-litre straight-six.
