This 1974 Ferrari ‘Dino’ 246GT is almost a one-owner car, it’s covered just 10,000 miles and it will be sold at H&H Classics’ sale at the Imperial War Museum Duxford on 16 October.
And, unlike many, it has never been restored, meaning its £225-275,000 estimate is for an original, low-mile, right-hand-drive example of this beautiful classic.
It was delivered to Dick Lovett Specialist Cars of Wroughton on 28 March 1974 and six days later it was sold to its first owner, a Michael Howard Hoskison of Sutton Coldfield for £5563, who gave it the numberplate ‘MHH 1’.
However just 18 months later, on 10 January 1976, it was sold to its second owner for £7000 – and it’s been there for most of the rest of its life, consigned to H&H’s sale by that owner’s family.
