Classic & Sports Car – Forgotten favourites wanted for Beaulieu showcase

Everyday classics from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s will form a brand-new display at this year’s International Autojumble at Beaulieu, and if you own one, you can apply to be part of the line-up.

The 4-5 September event will be celebrating cars built between 1960 and 1990 that were once part of our motoring landscape, the daily drivers and workhorses that are often overlooked.

For a chance to feature in the Forgotten Favourites showcase you can apply here. Places are limited, but if selected you’ll get free entry for two to the event.

What kind of cars are being considered? Think Austins Maxi and Allegro, the Citroën CX, Vauxhall Chevette, Talbot Samba, Triumph Toledo and many more.

As well as the usual treasure trove of spare parts, books, automobilia, collectibles and vintage clothing found at the largest such event this side of the Atlantic, Beaulieu’s International Autojumble will also host Automart and Dealermart, offering a host of classic cars for sale, plus there’s a two-day Bonhams MPH auction.

For even more shopping, check out Sunday’s car-boot sale, too.

The International Autojumble at the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu, is on 4-5 September. You can buy tickets here and apply to be part of the Forgotten Favourites display here.
