Prolific collector Rodger Dudding’s classics will fall under the spotlight this summer when he’s featured at the London Concours.

These will include his Frua-designed, one-of-51 AC 428 Coupé (pictured above), with its 7-litre Ford V8, that mixes Italian style with British engineering and US muscle, as well as his 21st-century AC, a 378 GT Zagato.

Each year, the event’s ‘The Collector’ class showcases an enthusiast’s cars – in 2019 it was Classic & Sports Car’s own Julian Balme – and Dudding’s garage promises to bring variety to the lawns of the Honourable Artillery Company HQ on 28-30 June.

Two Lagondas will feature, too, a ’60s Rapide Sports Saloon and the wedge-tastic Aston Martin Lagonda, one of the best-known cars in Dudding’s fleet – in fact, he owns an incredible 26 examples of this model.

Also coming to the London Concours are the two cars that kick-started this collection, thought to be the largest privately assembled collection in the UK, if not Europe: a Jensen Interceptor FF and a Morris Minor owned by Dudding’s father.

More eye-candy will be prised from from his Studio 434 stash in the shape of a De Lorean DMC-12, that is sure to attract a lot of attention.

These highlights and more from Dudding’s expansive collection will be in the British capital on 28-30 June.
