Austin Healey MK II A (1964)

The Austin Healey 3000 MKII A (BJ7) was produced in January 1962 and was the follow up of the MKII. An Austin Healey MKII A is really desirable: the highlights of a MKII A, in contrast to the MKII, are the revolving windows, which can be easily closed for a cold summerevening and the easy-to-use convertible top, without seperate frame. In addition, the later replaced classic dashboard, that decorates the car.
This Austin Healey 3000 MKII A was new deliverd on the 28th of February in 1964 in America. The current owner bought the car in 1997 in Michigan to start the restauration process. He restaurated the car completely, nothing was left out.
The chassis has been completely sandblasted, galvanized, primered in epoxy and then painted in the current color. The body was also completely overhauled and provided with new sheet metal where necessary. The engine has been completely restaurated. Of course, this restoration process is documented by a restoration files, containing among other things: photos of the car before, during and after the restoration. The car was registered in the Netherlands in 1998.
The car has matching numbers. Originally the car was delivered in Colorado red, during the restoration the car was painted in the original Austin Healey color Old English White.
In 2017, the car was meticulously checked again and the car was serviced very well. The overdrive has also been overhauled.
This Healey is equipped with the following options or adjustments: K&N filters, Halda Twinmaster, Kenlowe cooling fan, Moto-Lita wooden steering wheel, chromed wire-spoke wheels, Mohair convertible top, stainless steel exhaust, Lucas floodlights, alternator, electric petrol pump, special starter motor, electric ignition, sports ignition coil, enlarged radiator and aluminum sump.
The MKII is provided with a Fiva Identity Card and is still in an above-average condition: ready to enjoy it immediately!
