Description
This fantastically authentic 1954 Cadillac Series 62 was designed by the famous GM Harley Earl. The series 62 came, like this one, as a hardtop, a 4–door saloon and a 2-door convertible. One family has always owned this car. When the family moved to Ventura Country in late 1981 the car went with them. From early 1982 until 2016 the car was garaged in Ojai Barn. In 2016 the car re-emerged into the light when it was gifted to a museum. The Cadillac is completely original, all the bodywork is original and it even carries its first paint! Unique! The Cadillac has as little as 92,809 miles on the clock. The ’54 Series 62 represented a completely new design compared to the previous 1948-1953 model. The new model has typical Harley Earl-style flourishes, such as concealed exhausts, the above the door built-in sun visors, Florentine Curve rear window and the behind the indicator concealed fuel tank cap. It has a 230 Hp 331 ci V8 engine with an automatic 4-speed Hydra-Matic transmission. This series 62 with original Californian black plates is, without doubt, a unique survivor with a great pedigree!
