ALVIS CRESTED EAGLE

4-light saloon, 6-light saloon, limousine.

Tricky range to sort out though everything has transverse-leaf ifs, X-braced frame and cable-operated mechanical brakes, and wheelbases are as for Silver Eagle 20. Early ones have Wilson 'boxes, all-synchro standard from '36. Two smaller engines 1933/34, 2.8 sole offering in 1936, and detuned 31/2-litre unit alternative to 2.8-litre from 1937 on. Not very exciting.
