The basic BMW of the period with the usual hemi-head OHC slant-four engine, four-speed 'box, all-independent springing and dual-circuit servo brakes. High-performance Ti (optionally 5-speed) not usually seen in Britain. End-of-the-run 1502s are stripped economy  models using 75bhp engines in place of the earlier 85bhp type. 1802 not UK-imported.
