BMW 507

Roadster, hardtop coupÈ.

Goertz pulled all the stylistic stops out on this beauty, with a high-compression 150bhp engine and a 135mph potential using a 3.42 axle option. Chassis is shortened version of V8 saloon/503 frame. Servo brakes: front discs on some later cars. Production begins 1956. A five-star classic, and not as complex as the 300SL. Not cheap.
