Bristol
BRISTOL 407

2-door saloon.

First of the Anglo-American Bristols, with a 250bhp Chrysler engine married to a three-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission. Coils at the front instead of the traditional BMW transverse set-up, all-disc brakes and 125mph, plus a rather stodgy dignity. Thirsty engine and least attractive specification of the V8 Bristols.
