British Salmson
BRITISH SALMSON 14 HP S4D

Saloon, drophead coupé.

Styling British, but on this one you get steel-spoke wheels and heavy bodywork, hence barely 70 mph. By this time Billancourt's using transverse-leaf ifs, and this one has the hydraulic brakes of the biggest French offerings, too. Originally listed with a 75-bore, 1730cc engine but this involved boring the motor to the limit. Good club for this make.
