Bugatti
BUGATTI TYPE 57S/57SC

Roadster, 2-seater coupé, 2-seater cabriolet.

Shorter, lower chassis with split front axle, and rear axle passing through the frame side members. Slight attractive vee to radiator on all but very first 57S models, dry-sump lubrication, twin-plate clutch, and magneto instead of coil ignition. Handsome is as handsome does, and on 200bhp you may expect 120-plus mph from the blown 57SC. Unsupercharged 57S is nearly as fast.
