BUICK SKYLARK

2-door 5-seater coupé/convertible, 4-door 5-seater saloon.

In these years this was the bottom-of-the-range conventional Buick, built on two wheelbases (112incs for 2-door cars, 116 ins for others). Well-commissioned GM 'intermediate' model, with same basic chassis and suspension as the Special de Luxe and GGS, the Pontiac Tempest/Le mans and Oldsmobile F85/Cutlass models. Solid, good-looking by USA standards, but utterly unexciting. Only sold in Britain in 1970 - convertibles rarest of all. Replaced by Century for 1973 (not sold at all in Britain).
