Caterham Cars revived the Lotus Seven S3 design killed off by Lotus in 1970, and have sold 100 cars a year even since. Tubular space-frame chassis, light alloy body, rudimentary appointments, but coil springs all round, stupendous roadholding and agility. Stark style, with flowing wings. Ford engines and transmission for simplicity. Great fun!
