CORD 812S

Sedan, berline, convertible coupé, convertible phaeton.

With a centrifugal blower, output's up from 125-170bhp, and the ton comes up without any special tuning. Recognise this one externally by its plated stub exhausts. Mechanical headaches as for unblown cars, but apart from the berlines (the projecting boot spoils the lines) they are real lookers and the ragtops fetch astronomical prices. At least six firms have offered replicas (not always fwd, alas!) in the last ten years.
