CORD L29

Sedan, brougham sedan, convertible coupé, convertible phaeton sedan.

The beginning of the long, low look with Auburn-type Lycoming engine reversed (and rotating anti-clockwise) driving the front wheels via a three-speed 'box and hypoid differential. Hydraulic brakes (inboard at the front), double quarter elliptic front springs and X-braced frame. Nearly five feet of bonnet make it a crowd-stopper but it's a complex beast and doesn't like steep hills. No rhd either.
