CROSSLEY 20.9/GOLDEN

Tourer, saloon, fabric saloon.

Derivative of the old 1926 18/50, reputedly after the latter's poor performance on an Australian Royal tour. Mechanics and developments as for 2-litre, only no sports models and a 125ins wheelbase (123ins for Goldens, 1931 on), which latter have same silent third 'box and high-waisted six-light bodywork as the Silvers. Artillery wheels on some 20.9s, even in 1930.
