Duesenberg

Duesenberg
DUESENBERG J

Chassis only catalogued, numerous customs.

Super-classic - twin upstairs camshafts, 265 advertised brake horses, twin-plate clutch, electric and mechanical fuel pumps, hydraulic servo brakes, and a massive frame with six tubular cross-members. 'Short' cars have 1421/2ins wheelbase, long ones nearly a foot more. Dual-cowl phaetons and Murphy's unadorned Convertible Roadster (1929-32) perhaps the most attractive. It should do the ton with almost any body, but only five reputedly with rhd, and none currently recorded in Britain.
