FERRARI DINO 246GT/246GTS

2-door 2-seater coupé, spider.

Famous 'little' Ferrari (originally given new 'Dino' title by Maranello) evolved from 206GT of 1967-69. Like all modern Ferraris, it had a multi-tube frame, all-disc brakes and all-independent coil spring suspension. Steel body styled by Pininfarina but built by Scaglietti. Four-cam integral transmission, also used in Lancia Stratos, engine used in front-engined Fiat Dino. 150mph top speed from both versions, but Targa-top Spider available only for last two seasons. Highly desirable in spite of rust problem.
