FIAT 124 ABARTH RALLYE

2-door 2-seater sports car.

Fiat's original homologation special for rallying. Basically as 1.8-litre 124 Spider, but with coil spring independent rear end, roll-cage, light alloy and glass-fibre skin panels, and permanent hard-top. 128bhp/118mph as standard, 'works' cars up to 165/170bhp. For 1975, optional 16-valve cylinder head homologated (and used on so many later competition Fiats and Lancias). Excellent competition car but crude for road use - nonetheless desirable because of scarcity.
