Fiat
FIAT 125

2-door 4-seater saloon.

Cheeky, compact air-cooled rear-engine mini-car succeeded long-running 500, with typical squared up Fiat styling of the period. All independent suspension but little refinement, and not much performance either (60-65 top speed at best). As large as a Mini, but less roomy, much slower and less agile. For Italy, of course, it was ideal, as huge production run confirms. Larger engine phased in here for 1978 model year.
