FIAT 131 ABARTH RALLYE

2-door 4-seater saloon.

Extremely successful 'homologation special' for world-wide rallying use - not officially sold in UK, but road car examples exist here. Based on 131 but with 16-valve win-cam engine, Colotti gearbox, and independent rear end of 124 Abarth type. Glass-fibre body panels, scoops and intakes everywhere (some blanked off on road cars) - a harsh but effective competition car. For Fiat-Lancia rallying, replaced by Lancia Rally 037 in 1982. Built for one year only by Bertone.
