Fiat
FIAT 527

Sports saloon, seven-seater saloon.

Really a 522 with 55-60bhp engine (alloy head optional), downdraught carburettor, synchromesh, 17ins wheels (wire or disc, the latter on seven-seaters), and the slanting centre-barred radiator of Arditas and four-speed Balillas. As with hydraulic-braked Fiats of the period, the handbrake's a sudden-death affair on the transmission. No known survivors here.
