FORD CAPRI RS3100
2-door 2+2 seater sports coupé.
Halewood built 'homologation special' (the rules said 1000 had to be made...) designed for racing, and for use of four-cam Cosworth 3.4-litre 400bhp V6 conversion. In rare road form it had overbored 3-litre engine and 18bhp still with one Weber carb, plus big ducktail spoiler, cast alloy wheels and front quarter bumpers. Rest of chassis almost pure 3000GT except for RS2600's ventilated discs. Much under-rated when new (immediately made obsolete by Capri II style), and almost extinct today.
