Wide range of West German medium-large Fords on long 106.5ins wheelbase. All with own (not UK-type) V4 and V6 engines, and unique style having a touch of Corsair or Detroit-Ford lines. Conventional 'chassis', with leaf spring/rigid axle rear, but all cars with disc brakes. Power outputs, depending on model, from 60bhp on 1.5-litre to 125bhp on rare 2.6-litre (prod: 8.991). Most with four-door saloon shells, but smart hardtop coupés also available. Displaced in 1972 by first of Granadas, built in Germany and UK.
