HAMPTON STRAIGHT 8/EMPIRE SPORTSMAN

Sports saloon.

Chassis is the German Röhr with all independent springing (transverse at the front), and package includes coil ignition, servo brakes, adjustable clutch and brake pedals and (in 1930!) electric trafficators. Alas! On the six, nine-bearing Röhr unit is replaced by what sounds like the good old Continental from Muskegin, Mich. Four-speed Warner 'boxes on both, though a patent 'toothless' device was promised. Production negligible, if at all.
