HILLMAN 16/HAWK

Tourer, saloon, sports saloon, drophead coupé, 4-door cabriolet.

Hillman by Barney Roos, or sophisticated box-girder frames, transverse-leaf ifs, 16ins pressed-steel wheels and 1934 American styling, but still mechanical brakes, and synchro only on the two upper ratios. Hawks give 75bhp and 75mph. Dropheads (by Carbodies and Martin Walter) attractive, but these models didn't sell until they were re-skinned as Humbers.
