Hispano-Suiza

Hispano-Suiza
HISPANO-SUIZA T68 (J12)

Chassis only listed, numerous customs.

The ultimate in Hispanos, now with pushrods instead of an upstairs camshaft, plus central change from '34. 220bhp (or 250 with the rare 11.3-litre 68bis railcar engine) spells 100mph and 0-30 in 4 secs. Four chassis options, from 135ins (room for two and a weekend bag) to 158ins (for ministerial occasions). Bottom gear painfully high on the now-traditional three-speed 'box, which explains why people fit Rolls-Royce synchro units.
