Humber

Humber
HUMBER 12 (1935-37)

Saloon, Vogue saloon, drophead coupé.

Rootes called it 'controlled streamlining', which meant a forward mounted engine, a vee grille, and an integral boot full of spare wheel for the saloon. Also present - the latest vari-load rear springing and the Hillman Minx's all-synchro 'box. From 1936 with permanent jacks and a painted radiator shell. Nicely made, but 65mph is hard work.
