HUMBER 18/SNIPE
4-light saloon, 6-light saloon, sports saloon, drophead coupé.
Barney Roos design with the transverse ifs from his '35 Studebaker, a new box-girder frame on 124ins wheelbase, plus the forward-mounted engine (four mains only) and painted radiator shell of the latest 12s. Vee screens on saloons, vacuum-servo brakes, and de Normanville transmission again available. Snipe is quite a performer on 100bhp; the 18's sole merit is that they revived the engine for the 1946-48 Snipe, so spares availability may be reasonable.
