LEA-FRANCIS 2-LITRE

Saloon, tourer, 2-seater sports, county coupé, sportsman coupé.

Lea-Francis's attempt to cash in on the early thirties small 'six' boom. The 2-litre 'Ace of Spades' engine fitted into a conventional chassis with a wheelbase of 114ins; a top speed of 74mph was good for a thirties 2-litre, and all body styles were attractive. For '31, the engine was given a bigger bore and new cylinder heads, and then fitted into a P-type chassis on a 111ins wheelbase. All 2-litres very rare, although they were still being sold in 1936.
