LOTUS SEVEN S1/S2
Refined VI, with wish-bone ifs and hydraulic brakes. S1 has alloy nose-cone, cycle wings, normally Ford side-valve, some with 1098cc Coventry-Climax FWA ('Super Seven'), later S1s available with BMC A-series. S2 has simplified space-frame, revised rear axle location, grp nose. 105E engine option from '61, flared 'clamshell' wings soon after.
