Third and largest generation of early seventies rotary-engined saloons; with conventional engines it was sold as 929 (see below). As with sister cars, characterless in every way, this time in the Victor/Cortina Mk III size bracket. For the record, it had front discs and a choice of shells, but typically anodyne Mazda styling. Only sold in UK for three years, to mid-1976, last two with larger engine and five-speed gearbox. Not a memorable machine. Zero collector's appeal at the moment.
