2-door 5-seater coupé/convertible.

Same basic design as contemporary Mustang, already the largest ever, but with longer wheelbase, distinctive nose style, more equipment and less sporty feel. Most desirable was the XR7 version, sometimes with 370bhp V8 engine, especially if in the rare convertible body shell. Somehow this car missed the target by even more than the Mustang of the day did - it was too big, thirsty and ordinary.
