MG MAGNETTE ZA

4-door sports saloon.

Although its basic monocoque body is shared with a Wolseley and its engine is an Austin unit, still manages to have an Abingdon flavour. Back-and-pinion steering is very un-Austin, and the wood-and-leather trim is pleasing - even if the Y-type's sliding roof is no longer on offer. 'Hockey-stick' side-trims identify ZA.
