MG TB
Open 2-eater, drophead coupé.
Rationalisation? What rationalisation? The TB used another new engine, this time the XPAG unit of the Morris Ten, but fortunately there was more chance of turning this one, as was proved after the war when, in supercharged for, it powered the Gardner MG past 200mph, as well as powering Lotus, Kieft, and Cooper. Revised gear ratios and a dry clutch were also part of the TB spec. Very rare, and, in drophead coupé form, very pretty, though it lacks some of the charm of the P series.
