MORRIS ISIS (1932-35)
Saloon, tourer, sports coupé.
A new and less transatlantic look for 1932 heralds a return to traditional ash-framed construction. Sports coupé follows the new Morris house-style. Mechanically much as before, but with four-speed 'box. '34 and '35 models, fitted with Bendix automatic clutch and freewheel, have new cross-braced chassis and are recognisable by new radiator with dummy honeycomb rather than previous thermostatically -controlled (Calorstat) vertical chromium shutters. Despite longer production run than steel-bodied Isis, sales could not equal those of the original car.
