Peculiar overhead exhaust valve and side inlet valve arrangement was used, as were hydraulic brakes and a four-speed synchromesh 'box. Styling very Lancia/Alfa of that period, complete with fashionable sloping grille, but project killed because the firm's new owners - Fiat - didn't want extra competition for the ageing 522s and 524s.
