PANHARD 6CS

6-light saloon, 4-light saloon, 4-seat coupé, Weymann saloon.

A real High Tory of a car, with its quarter elliptic rear springs, the X-gate change, no rear dampers and no oil pressure gauge. If your oil pump failed, the ignition cut out, so if a big end went, you had to rely on your ears... Thermo-siphon cooling normal, twin carbs were the norm from '32 the larger engine came in '33 and all UK cars have coil ignition and single disc clutches. 65mph was your limit but it was a dignified 65mph.
