PANHARD 8DS

4-light saloon, 6-light saloon, various customs.

Like the 6CS, there's a sheet metal platform between rear cross members, and centralised chassis lubrication, and although the artillery wheels are out of date, they have a certain stylishness all of their own. All factory saloons very big-Yank looking and the Panoramique models with thin screen pillars and small front quarterlights are actually quite handsome. Expensive at £1020 for a chassis, and like all the thirties Panhards if had a Panhard rod to control rear axle lateral movement.
