PEUGEOT 301

Saloon, sunshine coupé.

In effect, a stretched 201, but with an electrically welded block-tube frame, and ifs on all but the earliest versions. A 1063/4ins wheelbase standard, while '34 models had three bearing crank and all synchro 'box, balloon tyres, wider rear track and five bonnet flaps instead of four. It was all out at 55mph, and the long stroke gave it a saleable 12.9hp rating in this country.
