Plymouth
PLYMOUTH PB

Saloon.

New for '32, the PB came with rigid X-braced chassis, vacuum operated advance and reatd, 'centrifuse' brake drums with cast iron fused to rims of steel to dissipate heat, constant mesh gears, and slightly more power. With its three speeds, semi-elliptic springing and three-bearing sidevalve engine it was entirely conventional, but sturdy, reliable and a great seller in the States. Price was on the high side, but as the US advertising slogan said: 'Don't buy any low-priced car until you've driven the new Plymouth with Floating Power.'
