One of two front-wheel wheel drive coupés, based on Renault 12 floorpan and running gear, with front discs, choice of engines (TL was 1.3, TS was 1.6), and an automatic transmission option. 90 to 100+mph, depending on engine chosen. Plain two-headlamp nose and long side-window style, to differentiate from the closely-related 17, and adequate but not scintillating road behaviour and character. 15TS dropped in the UK from late 1975. This range was displaced by the Fuego in 1980. Rather more of a GT than a sports car, and not the most memorable Renault.
