8hp update of the UY, still with two bearing crank, coil ignition, three speed synchro 'box, and six-volt electrics. Late '34 and '35 cars have the new aero styling, but all come with standard Renault suspension and running gear in a 96ins wheelbase frame. It provided a good competitor to the Traction Avant Citroen, despite its antiquated running gear.
