RILEY 15/6

Stelvio saloon, Kestrel saloon, Falcon saloon, Adelphi saloon, Lynx tourer.

New version of the 'six' incorporated many design features carried over from the 12/4, including a box section frame with tubular X-members arched over the rear axle and with X-form cross bracing, boxed in '36, and on a 1161/2ins wheelbase from '37 compared to the standard 1121/2ins. Some '36 models had a wider (51ins) track, carried through to the six's demise in '38. Engine wise, there were semi-circular rocker covers as opposed to the 14/6's squared off varieties to go along with the increased bore. Only available with a preselector 'box to give 'exceptionally easy driving characteristics'.
