RILEY 4/68 & 4/72

Saloon.

BMC-Farina yet again, this time a mix of MG performance (twin SUs, 66bhp with the 1 1/2-litre engine) and Wolseley luxury (burr walnut veneer, and so on.) Most of them two-toned: this became the standard finish from June '62. 4/72 (Oct 1961) has 1.6-litre engine, wider track, anti-roll bars front and rear, and automatic option. Definitely not 'magnificent motoring', whatever the catalogue said.
